Emergency Response Team

Our dedicated team responds to wildlife emergencies promptly, providing rescue and rehabilitation services to injured or distressed animals. We work tirelessly to ensure the well-being and safety of wildlife in need, striving to release them back into their natural habitats once they are fully recovered.

Local Outreach Programs

In addition to wildlife rescue, we actively engage with the local community through various support programs. We offer support to cumbria's most vulnerable and in need in the form of food parcels, donated items, referrals or signposting to other organisations. Additionally, we offer a befriending service to the elderly. By working together, we can create a sustainable and compassionate environment for all.

How You Can Help Your Community

1

Check in on your neighbours

It can be hard approaching your neighbour if you're not especially close, but being friendly can build bridges and build communities. Checking up on someone that's elderly or alone can make all the difference to someone's life. Even sending a private message to someone that you see is struggling on social media can help that person through a day. Big gestures aren't always necessary, if you see someone that can benefit from a little bit  of help, practice kindness and choose to offer a little bit of your time.

2

Pay It Forward

Make a mental note of something that someone done for you today, did one of your kids help you with chores? Did someone help you with some spare change you were short at the checkout? Did someone pay you a compliment? Think about how that impacted you today and pay it forward. A small gesture can have the biggest impact.

3

Volunteer where you can

Volunteering for local charities is the best way to contribute to your local community, sparing a couple of hours in your spare time can be invaluable to other organisations that contribute to the community. Even if you consider your role to be a 'small' one, it is almost guaranteed that your presence and your time makes a large difference.
